To make a request for payment plan, you must be able to provide acceptable photo identification, you must not be a juvenile (16 years of age or younger), and your violation must not be a Family Violence violation.

By requesting a Payment Plan, you will be entering a plea of "Guilty" or "No Contest" and waiving your rights to a bench or jury trial and forfeiting the options for Driver's Safety Course or Deferred Disposition. Your citation will be recorded as a conviction and reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The payment plan option does not in any way release you from your responsibility to pay the entire fine due.
